Our Church History

Plantation Community Church is an independent church in the Evangelical tradition. We celebrate the freedom of every Christian to pursue a Christ-centered faith. Our commitment to Christ is expressed in worship, fellowship, service and support of missions.

Our church has grown since its incorporation in 1950 as Plantation’s first church. Located on 5 acres in the midst of old Plantation, the present church family has grown into facilities erected in 1957 with a faithful eye to the future. Now, we are building with a faithful eye towards serving future generations.

In 1995, after several years of prayerful consideration, the church committed to a campus make-over, including a new sanctuary building with four classrooms. This project is currently underway. The next phase involves renovation of the existing sanctuary into a larger prayer chapel, music room and office, four classrooms and renovation of the fellowship hall. The completion of this campus make-over will position the church for ministry well into the Twenty-first Century.

The members of our church look forward to radiating the light of Christ as His Beacon on Broward. Our members come from a multitude of denominational backgrounds. We invite you to come join us as we focus on the LORDSHIP of Jesus Christ and the Word of God.
