Missions Support Policy

We believe in tithing (bringing the 1st tenth of our income into the LORD’s house. We consider our giving in excess of that first 10th to be our offerings to Christ. Thus, we give our “tithes and offerings" to the LORD. In Matthew 28:18-20 God’s Word says: 18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Based on these principles, PCC has committed to supporting the cause of missions through giving 26% of the church’s income directly to missions (home and abroad) as our tithes and offerings. We pray for our missionaries and endeavor to interact with them through financial contributions, correspondence, hospitality extended when they are in the U.S. and whenever possible through trips to visit the location of their ministry. We are concerned for their spiritual, emotional, financial and material needs.
